Furniture Assembly in Utah

Get Your New Furniture Setup Right.

New furniture arrives, and then it sits in boxes for two weeks because you don't have the time or energy to put it together after everything else that's going on. Meanwhile, it takes up floor space and the room it was meant to improve stays chaotic.

Orderly Nest includes furniture assembly support as part of home organization projects, so your new storage pieces, shelving units, and organizational furniture get put together and put to use on the same day.

Why Furniture Assembly Fits Naturally Into Organization

Most home organization projects involve at least some new storage furniture, whether it's a shelving unit for the garage, a dresser for a kid's room, a pantry organizer, or a storage bench for the entryway. Having that furniture assembled on the spot, as part of the organization session, means the system gets set up completely in one visit.

You don't have to wait for a separate assembly appointment. You don't have to figure out the instructions yourself on a weekend you don't have. The furniture is built, placed, and loaded with your newly organized belongings before our team leaves.

What Furniture Assembly Support Includes

Orderly Nest handles assembly of standard flat-pack furniture from IKEA, Target, Amazon, and similar retailers. This includes shelving systems, wardrobe units, drawer organizers, cabinets, entryway furniture, and most storage-focused pieces.

For more complex or large-scale furniture, or for furniture that requires more than one person to safely assemble, Amber will discuss logistics during the consultation.

Connecting Assembly to the Organization System

The advantage of having assembly happen within an organization session is that each piece gets placed intentionally. The shelving unit goes in the right spot for how the room will be used. The organizer fits the items it will hold. Nothing gets placed as a placeholder that ends up staying there forever.

Orderly Nest puts it together and organizes into it in the same session, which is a much more satisfying and complete result than doing the two steps separately.

FAQs

What types of spaces do you organize?

We organize anything in your home: kitchens, pantries, closets, playrooms, garages, storage rooms, home offices, etc. No space is too messy or overwhelming—we’ve seen it all!

Do I need to be home during the session?

We just need you at the start for decluttering decisions, reachable for check-ins along the way, and available at the end to wrap up. If you’re working from home or need to step out briefly, that’s totally fine! We never discard anything without your OK.

Can my kids be home?

Yep! We’re moms. We know how to work around kids.

Will I need to buy organizing products?

Not necessarily! We always work with what you already have when possible. If products would make a big difference, we’ll offer suggestions—and you can choose to shop yourself or use our optional Shopping Service.

What is your optional Shopping Service?

For a $35 fee, we’ll take care of shopping for all the organizing products you need and handle any returns for you. You’ll just reimburse us for the cost of the items—we always check in with you first to confirm the total before making any purchases.

What’s included in an organizing session?

Every session includes decluttering guidance and hands-on organizing, product recommendations, custom labeling, and donation haul-away. We’ll create systems that actually work for your lifestyle—not just ones that look good in photos.

How long does it take to organize a space?

It depends on the size and complexity of the space. In a 5-hour session, we can usually complete one area (like a pantry, closet, or laundry room). Larger or more cluttered spaces often take multiple sessions.

Do you clean too?

While we’re not a cleaning service, we always tidy and wipe down surfaces as we organize. You’ll definitely feel a fresh, reset vibe when we’re done!

Is this going to be overwhelming or judgmental?

Never judgmental—truly. We meet every client with compassion and zero shame, no matter what your space looks like. That said, decluttering can feel overwhelming at times, and that’s completely normal. We’re here to guide you through it at your pace, never pressuring you to make a decision you’re not ready for. Our goal is to make the process feel as easy and supportive as possible.

Do you take on custom projects?

Yes! If you don’t see something we offer, just ask! We can help with move-ins, downsizing a loved one, decluttering after loss, or setting up a craft space. We’re happy to tailor our services to your needs. Just ask—we’ll figure it out together.

Can you help with paper clutter?

Yes! Whether it’s mail, school papers, or office stuff, we create simple, sustainable systems for managing it.

Do you offer design or styling services?

While our main focus is function, we love making spaces look good too! We aren’t designers, but can help with layout, product picks, and light styling. Think practical with a touch of pretty!
